Buyer Briefing: Avoiding Unnecessary Color Variants

A broad color range can look impressive while making purchasing and presentation more complex. GleeParty and Yiwu Jingjie Crafts Co., Ltd. encourage buyers to give each proposed variant a clear role in the assortment.

What to review

Group closely related colors and ask whether they serve distinct customer needs. Review material and finish differences in samples, since two similar names may produce different appearances. Avoid creating multiple SKU records for options that your team cannot explain clearly.

Apply it to your next inquiry

Start with the variants that fit the intended customer and display concept. Keep a record of additional possibilities for later review, then use your own channel feedback to decide which deserve a place in the next order.
