Partner Brief: What Distributors Should Include in an Introduction

A distributor introduction is more useful when it explains the business context behind the inquiry. GleeParty and Yiwu Jingjie Crafts Co., Ltd. welcome a clear overview of the categories and customer channels the buyer intends to serve.

Prepare the discussion

Describe the destination market, the types of retail or trade customers involved and the role of party products in the existing assortment. Include the preferred pack formats and any product information needed for the catalog. Separate immediate sourcing needs from longer-term collection ideas.

Agree on the next step

Use the introduction to agree on a focused product shortlist. Any territory arrangements, service expectations or exclusivity proposals require separate discussion and written agreement; they should not be assumed from a general wholesale inquiry.
